Description
City Site Solutions are recruiting for a Contracts Controller based in Manchester. You will be working for one a leading commercial roofing company.

Your duties will include assisting the branch manager and contracts managers in the day to day running of contracts within the business.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing contract filing systems
  • Control administrative systems
  • Maintain supplies of stationary, equipment and PPE
  • Using in house systems to manage purchase orders, deliveries and purchase invoices
  • Source and order materials using preferred suppliers where possible and to seek more competitive prices where there is scope
  • Attend contract handover meeting and develop contract files
  • Highlight any material price of quantity deviation from contract cost allowance
  • Record and manage contract expenditure and report to the manager
  • Arrange and manage deliveries to sites by suppliers and in house transportation
  • Assist in aspects of HR for operatives, including organisation of training, absence reports, holidays, ect
  • Collate and format O&M manuals
  • Answer telephone queries and distribute accordingly
  • Comply with company policy at all times
  • Other adhoc duties

All applicants need to be able to:

  • Communicate and work with others well
  • Have numeracy skills
  • Demonstrate competence in administration and purchasing
  • Competency in Microsoft Office or equivalent
  • Confident communicator (both oral and written)
  • Mathematical & English abilities
