About the Role


This is an exciting opportunity for a Communications Co-Ordinator to join the Library and Learning Services team at the Catalyst, our Ormskirk Campus University Library.

The Catalyst Communications Co-Ordinator is a brand-new post that will play a pivotal role in developing, managing, organising, and delivering Catalyst marketing, communications and student engagement activities.

Working collaboratively with colleagues across three large student service areas, including Library and Learning Services, Student Services and Careers, you will facilitate cross-service initiatives to promote and deliver a cohesive approach to Catalyst communications.


About You

As Catalyst Communications Co-Ordinator, you will:

  • Have excellent communication skills, to craft engaging content and manage diverse communication channels, and demonstrable experience in communications, marketing, or public relations, preferably within the education sector.
  • Have strong project management and organisation skills to manage the Catalyst calendar, coordinate key communications and ensure smooth and timely workflows.
  • Be able to collaborate, work and communicate effectively with various teams, both internal to Catalyst and across the wider University, fostering a cohesive approach to communications and implement crossservice initiatives.
