Our Client, a prestigious, global professional services/legal organisation, wishes to recruit an experienced HR Advisor. This is a really interesting, permanent HR Advisory job in Belfast city centre.

The successful HR Advisor will act as one of the key HR contacts across the UK, pro-actively delivering business focused HR services and solutions.

Supporting the HR Manager, the HR Advisor will enjoy the full range of HR activities; business partnering on day to day HR operations, employee relations, joiners/leavers, recruitment etc.

The Role:

Act as a trusted advisor
Provide advice and expertise on a wide range of generalist issues. Identifying ways that HR can support people and operational priorities
Support change management initiatives and work with the HR Manager to communication any organisational change
Provide guidance and support to Managers to ensure that all employee issues are resolved promptly
Proactively identify changes and improvements to employment policies and practices
Advise Managers on how to effectively manage poor performance
Lead on straightforward ER issues such as disciplinary and grievances
Oversee the probation review process
Manage flexible working requests
Monitor and proactively manage sickness absence
Work with the HR Assistant to oversee effective and consistent induction processes
Conduct exit interviews
Manage secondments and oversee secondment policy

The Person:

3rd level qualification
Minimum of 2 years recent relevant HR Advisory/HR Generalist/HR Officer level experience
Professional services sector experience would be preferable
Track record of building strong relationships
Proven track record of case management in relation to performance management, grievances and disciplinary matters
Strong project management skills
Well organised
Articulate and commercial
