**Data Comprehension Lead

**Goodman Masson are working with a client in the Insurance sector who are recruiting for a Data Comprehension Lead to lead the role out and production oversight of the organisation's data comprehension initiative across the business.

Rate:
Flexible, IR35 status to be determined

Duration: 6 months initially (2-3 year project)

Location:
Hybrid, London office

Taking ownership of the organisation's new data lineage and virtualisation tool, Solidatus
Mapping out data across different layers of the organisation
Setting up an implementation delivery roadmap for Solidatus across all business areas
Working with SMEs in developing Solidatus models
Collecting and documenting requirements from a business perspective for underlying models
Working with the Information & Data Management team to successfully deliver against the department's objectives
Experience of Solidatus or similar software
An understanding of both data management and data governance policies and principles
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with business stakeholders and build relationships across the organisation
Ability to analyse large volumes of data quickly and understand how data flows through typical industry practices
Understanding of the usage of data specific to an Insurance company
