CHILDRENS RESIDENTIAL SUPPORT WORKER

NATIONAL PROVIDER WITH LOTS OF PROGRESSION


Tezlom are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Residential Support Worker to work with 4 Children aged 8-17 in an existing home in Pontefract.


This is a highly rewarding job where you will actively make a difference to those who you support, and encourage each child to choose the right pathways in life.


This is a full time, permanent position with an opportunity to progress your career with a national provider with a great reputation.


Working on a 2 on 4 off shift pattern, you will be paid an additional £45 per sleep, as well as having opportunities to pick up additional shifts when needed.


Roles include supporting children with their daily lives and activities, encouraging progression both inside and outside the classroom, and encouraging them to choose the right pathways in life.


Salary is as follows:
Without NVQ 3 in Residential Childcare
- £19950+sleeps (OTE £22K)
With NVQ 3 in Residential Chidlcare - £20700+sleeps (OTE £24-26K dependant on additional responsibilities)


Experience we require:

  • Minimum one year working with children/young adults
  • Ideally NVQ 3 in Residential Childcare but we will consider working towards this.
  • Ideally a driver with access to own vehicle
