LIFE by Be Caring is looking to recruit
Support Workers to join our team in the
Gosforth, Heaton, Kenton, Fenham, Elswick, Arthurs Hill and Walker areas of Newcastle. As a
Support Worker, you will be part of an integral team providing tailored person-centred care to our customers which is both meaningful and wellbeing focused.


Pay:
£ £10.30 p/hr

30 p/hr - Complex Care Needs:


  • Mileage
    40p per mile & 15p per mile for cyclists:

  • Bonus schemes:up to £450 new starter, £300 Refer a Friend, £250 annual bonus, £25 birthday gift voucher.

Working Hours and Shift Patterns

  • Parttime hours available
  • Fulltime hours available
  • Shift working based in one location
  • Weekend working undertaken on a rota basis

  • Be a great communicator, listening to the individual to understand their wants, needs, dreams and ambitions.

  • Be a motivator, encouraging and guiding the individual to take small but brave steps towards learning new skills, meeting new people and attending local community groups
  • Support the individual to become as independent as they can, making their own choices and decisions

Training

Paid induction training: classroom-based, includes shadowing and additional online modules.

Additional learning disabilities, autism and mental health training: provided to all new recruits - equipping you to meet the needs of our customers and enabling you to provide tailored, personalised support. Training delivered by our amazing specialist trainer Suzanne.

Training development: funded Level 2 and other accredited courses.
