fantastic opportunity for you

To work for a prestigious manufacturing client in Wednesbury, welding and fabricating bespoke projects.


Requirements:


  • 2 years experience within installation
  • Ability to read design drawings and plant layouts
  • Installation of machinery, kilns & furnaces, pipe and automation systems on site and in the workshop
  • Installation and removal of equipment
  • Fabrication work on site and in the work shop
  • Quality checking for defects, measure work pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications
  • Working within given timeframe and according to specifications
  • Painting, sawing, drilling, punching, shearing, bending, grinning, fitting, factory maintenance, stores control, stock control, adhoc duties
  • Manual handling
  • Ability to lift and manoeuvre 22kgs without physical restrictions
  • Climbing on ladders for access, working on scaffolds to assemble structures or working in confined spaces may be required at times
  • CSCS or SPA card
  • IPAF (preferred)
  • Forklift truck licence (preferred)
  • PASMA (preferred)

Pay rate:
£ £14.00 per hour


This is a 10 week temp position with immediate starts with a view to become a permanent member of staff.


Salary:
£12.00-£14.00 per hour

Experience:


  • MIG welding: 1 year (preferred)
  • Fabrication: 1 year (preferred)
