We are looking for an exceptional Head of Design.


You will:

  • Lead the Design team to determine current level of design knowledge and produce plans to train, support and mentor individuals, upskilling where required to ensure quotations and design proposals are delivered to the highest standards.
  • Lead the Design team to understand current competencies, upskilling the team.
  • Support individuals throughout both preconstruction and post acceptance design teams to work towards and achieve revelvant multiutility accreditations in line with business requirements / needs.
  • Support where required with ongoing business recruitment to increase expertise within the business and expand in house capabilities.

You will ideally have:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in producing both a design and cost for multiutility infrastructure.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience closely working with people and teams to assess skills and develop plans for improvement and upskilling.
  • Clear and strong understanding of utility network processes, specifications and governance.
  • Accredited in line with industry requirements.
