Role - Data Architect

Location - Bradford

Salary - Up to £70,000 plus Car Allowance (£6,000) plus Bonus and Benefits

Working Pattern - Hybrid, 2 days a week in the office

Skills - Azure / SQL / MSQL

Oscar Technology have partnered with an established business within West Yorkshire who are looking to advance their Data Architecture team to implement designs that will lead to business influencing analysis.

They are currently doing a full transformation across technology, including a cloud migration - this is really the focus of this role.

They are looking for this person to take them to next phase of their development and essentially build a full-scale dataarchitecture, within the cloud.

For this role we can certainly consider a Data Engineer who would be interested in designing the architecture - even if they haven't done this before.

This is still a technical role but you will essential own the Data Platforms, these platforms obviouslyallow the business to use advanced analytics for intelligent decision making.

Responsibilities:

Operate a strategic data improvement project to assess the businesses outcomes.
Initiate and lead a strategic, largescale data improvement programme
Design technical Data and Analytics solutions to attain, process and store data that can then be used to provide insights.
Evaluate existing designs for potential risks to data.
Use assessments of the businesses data requirements to create data models and designs.
Crosschecking data to confirm consistent design across the relevant systems.
Design and build scalable and resilient Data & Analytics solutions in Microsoft Azure architect technical solutions to obtain, process, store and provide insights based on processed data
Undertaking structured analysis of business data requirements, translating this analysis into data models and designs

Skills:

Knowledge of Cloud platform ideally Azure
Ability to work with SQL and MSQL to create reports based on your findings.
Experience within Data Architecture or Data Engineering

The Person:

We are looking for a motivated individual with an analytical background and mindset.

You will have worked as a Data Architect and enjoy designing architect solutions that will provide insights into the businesses data.

You will be confident in consultingand building relationships with customers and be able to collaborate with both a large team and when adding an individual contribution to projects.
