Group Health, Safety and Environmental Manager
Location:
Homebased but ideally situated in the North West
Salary:
Circa £45k - £50k plus company care or allowance (£500)
A large national manufacturing and retail business are now looking to recruit a Group Health, Safety & Environmental Manager to join their team.
Group Health, Safety and Environmental Manager - Overview
The company has 3 manufacturing facilities in the midlands, Manchester and Warrington Area as well as 17 trade outlets across the UK, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland.
Your role will be to travel to each site and making sure that they are working safelyand in accordance with the groups HSE Policies and Procedures.
Group Health, Safety and Environmental Manager - Job Role:
- Review and update the companies HSE Policies and Procedures
- Create the companies sustainability policy
- Undertake the HSE Training & Inductions
- Ensure the correct PPE is being worn at all times
- Promote a positive HSE Culture
- Undertake accident and investigations
- Person Requirements**:
- Hold a NEBOSH General Certificate, NEBOSH Diploma, NCRQ, or NVQ in Occupational Health and Safety (or similar)
- Ideally hold environmental management qualification such as IEMA or NEBOSH
- Managed multiple sites
- Able to travel nationally
- Member of IOSH and working towards CMIOSH
