Learning Coach. Education and Childcare, Public Service Sectors, Sport and Science.
Part time. 18.5 hours per week.
Permanent position. Term Time only.

40 weeks per year.**There's an exciting opening within the Education and Childcare, Public Service Sectors, Sport and Science (CHHS) curriculum area for the role of Learning Coach.

As a Learning Coach, your primary role is to collaborate closely with the Programme Leaders to assist individuals in becoming self-reliant learners by enhancing their study and employability skills.

Your support will be instrumental in guiding them towards positive career paths.

Your key responsibilities will involve delivering Personal Development (PD) encompassing behaviours and attitudes, conducting group one -on-one tutorials, establishing and evaluating SMART goals, monitoring student attendance and punctuality, and aiding students in accessing enrichment opportunities.


To excel in this role, you must handle challenging issues with a composed and responsible demeanour and build effective relationships with a diverse range of individual students.

Extensive liaison with teachers, Programme Leads, Managers and Parents is inherent in this position as well as maintaining up-to date student records in college systems.


We are looking for an enthusiastic Learning Coach with a genuine passion for supporting all students, to remain engaged in their programs.


You must hold the following:

  • Level 2 in maths and English (equivalent to GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above)
Experience in the relevant sectors would be advantageous, as would knowledge of providing advice and guidance to young people.
