Interim FP&A Specialist job in Plymouth


Are you a seasoned Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Specialist with a knack for revamping financial models and enhancing reporting cycles? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our client on an interim project for approximately 3 months.

The business is committed to growth and innovation, and are seeking an experienced FP&A Specialist to help them to elevate their financial capabilities.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to reinvent and optimize our FP&A models.
  • Examining and enhancing reporting cycles to provide realtime insights into our financial performance.
  • Exploring "What if" scenarios and developing strategies to drive better decisionmaking.
  • Redesigning existing models to efficiently consolidate data from various sources, streamlining the process.
  • Developing advanced forecasting, planning, and analytical techniques to support accurate predictions.
  • Creating robust and structured systems to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting.
  • Identifying and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) that drive financial success.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate findings, and implement improvements.
  • Demonstrating the ability to work independently

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as an FP&A Specialist or similar role, with a strong focus on detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated success in revamping financial models and optimizing reporting processes.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and planning techniques.
  • Experience in working with private equity (PE) reporting is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Ability to work independently and manage projects from inception to completion.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.

Note:
This is an interim position for approximately 3 months with the potential for extension based on project needs.
