About GSMA Membership
Operator Membership - around 650 mobile operators globally are members of the GSMA Rapporteur Membership - for Mobile Virtual Network Operators Industry Members - for suppliers to the mobile industry Sector Members - for some specific industry vertical sectors
The role of the GSMA Membership function is to acquire, account manage and retain members across all these types. The benefits of membership include access to GSMA working groups, GSMA permanent reference documents, database access, e.g. in relation to the facilitation of bilateral roaming and industry contacts, and networking.
GSMA Membership helps member companies grow and drive forward by addressing common connectivity challenges; they benefit from enhanced connections and more informed strategic decision-making via the exclusive information, insights, knowledge, access and industry voice that the GSMA's position at the heart of the global mobile industry provides.
Members can Network, Partner, Learn and Create together with their peers, operators and the entire mobile connectivity ecosystem to contain complexity, reduce fragmentation and enable all stakeholders and society to benefit from sustainable, end to end mobile connectivity opportunities and solutions.

The Membership Coordinator role will focus on supporting the Membership Sales and Membership Engagement teams, including managing and maintaining member databases, owning the renewals cycle and working closely with internal teams
Specific responsibilities will include:
Operational Procedures:
Responsible for membership processes, supporting the Membership Sales and Engagement teams, organising and maintaining filing systems and databases, the team expert and go to person for internal queries, updating manuals and process guides, identify improvements to streamline current processes, supporting with information gathering, analysis and reporting to enable strategic decision making, Member briefings for senior management, Sales support documentation and fielding Member enquiries
Renewals Process:
Lead and own end to end Membership renewal cycle working closely with internal teams, Membership managers and Members,
Shared Mailbox Management:
Ownership of shared membership mailbox assigning cases accordingly to Membership Managers and responding to general queries within an agreed timeframe
Member led approach:
This role will be pivotal in assisting the Membership Sales and Engagement teams with processes supporting with customer success and enhancing the member experience
Teamwork:
Working collaboratively with other GSMA departments (Marketing, Finance, Technology amongst others) to deliver on Membership sales and engagement objectives, strategy and targets.
About You- A hands-on, can-do attitude with the ability to multitask with a strong work ethic- The ability to manage relationships with external and internal stakeholder- Proven experience of working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritise effectively and manage expectations- The ability to identify queries and find resolutions- Excellent Microsoft skills including advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups etc.), Word (mailmerge), Sharepoint- Awareness of technology with the ability to learn- Highly organised individual with excellent attention to detail- Tenacious with high levels of accountability and integrity- Strong levels of customer service and solutions-oriented- Good communication skills at all levels with very strong written English and professional manner- Team-player used to working towards shared objectives- Able to work autonomously and with the ability to recognize when to request assistance- An additional language would be considered a plus- Salesforce and Workday experience would be preferable, but not essentialContract type
