Embedded Test Engineer

Location of work:
Flexible WFH Available


Skills and Experience Required:


  • Test automation
  • Python scripting or similar
  • Writing and maintaining Unit tests in C, C++ or similar
  • Test and debug of hardware
  • Writing test procedureS

The Role:

A new role has now been created for an embedded test engineer to join my clients growing engineering team as they continue to design and develop their industry leading range of products that are used around the globe.


The ideal embedded test engineer will have industry experience in a similar role and have experience developing tests and test automation for embedded devices.

You will be keen for variety in your role and enjoy working in a small development team workingto agile methodologies.

You will be strong with Python scripting and ideally be able to write tests in C or C++.


In this role you will be joining a team of professional engineers and developers delivering cutting-edge developments which will set the standard for all future product developments.

You will enjoy the chance to contribute and take ownership of all thingstesting and in this role there will be plenty of opportunity for career development and up skilling
.



Desirable Skills and Experience:


  • C++ or C programming or an interest in learning
  • Jenkins
  • Google test
  • Test driven development
  • Documentation of test progress
