Mpeople Recruitment are currently seeking an enthusiastic and confident
Logistics Administrator on behalf of our client who are a reputable and thriving manufacturing logistics provider based in
Rochdale.
- Location: Rochdale (
OL16) - Hours of work: 08:30 17:30 or 09:00 18:00, Monday to Friday
- Salary: Up to £22,500 dependent on experience
- Benefits: 27 days holiday plus bank holidays, advanced company pension, and free parking
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Communication and co-ordination with internal departments within Rochdale and other branches throughout the business (nationally and internationally), ensuring that the agreed service levels are met
- To respond promptly and accurately to enquiries
- Checking of customer paperwork to ensure correctness before shipping and matching to the appropriate collection order
- Direct communication with customers in a professional and efficient manner
The required traits, skills, and background
- Excellent communication and rapport building skills (written and verbal)
- Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Highly numerate and methodical
- Computer literate (and a quick learner with systems)
- Able to focus/concentrate in a busy office environment
- Adaptable and willing to learn
- Selfmotivated and able to use own initiative to manage your own workload
- Experience within the logistics or transport sector would be advantageous, but is not essential
