Teaching Assistant / General and 1:1 Autism Support - South Birmingham
**Are you looking for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant role to start ASAP?

**Are you looking for a long term role with the possibility for a permanent position after the end of the academic year?

This
Primary school, not far away from Harborneis looking for a
Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child with
Autism in the mornings and general TA in Reception in the afternoons.

This position is a full time position Monday - Friday, term time only working pm, with the possibility of a permanent / contract position for the following academic year.
This child has Autism and will require a 1:1 support who will patient, caring, supportive and encouraging.

The child spends his time outside of the classroom with his 1:1 support completing various activities to engage and encourage learning.

The successful
Teaching assistant will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and will be comfortable talking to parents, staff and visitors to the school.

Experience working in a Primary School would be advantageousbut not essential, however you will need to have experience working with children in another capacity.
