Our client, a long established logistics company based on the outskirts of
Oxford, are seeking a finance assistant to join their growing team.

This role is the perfect opportunity for someone wanting to begin their
finance career and gain some industry knowledge and work towards an
accounting qualification.

The main purpose of job function is to assist with the smooth running of all
Finance processes across company and carry out Master Data and Finance
Process Delivery tasks as directed by management.


Responsibilities:


  • To carry out tasks such as updating SAP Master Data and Updating
BPC Master Data.

  • To carry out analysis of the General Ledger to ensure that processes
are being adhered to as expected.

  • To actively update the Finance Wiki and drive traffic through there.
  • To be the first point of contact for finance queries and effectively
signpost those raising queries to thecorrect area of the business /
documentation on the wiki if they cannot answer the question
themselves.

  • To assist with the smooth running of forecasting cycles.
  • To assist with a smooth year end in terms of making sure that all
items are delivered on time and to the correct standard.

  • Attention to detail and a willingness to learn and take on new
processes.

  • Currently studying / desire to start studying for an accountancy
qualification.

  • Customer focus is key as this area will
interface with finance and non finance individuals from all across
the business and will often be the main point of contact that these
individuals have with the Central Finance Function.

  • Proficient user of excel.
  • Proficient user of SAP.
(Whilst a good level of IT skills are required as a prerequisite of the role, it is
expected that these skills will become excellent during the first 6 months
and that the incumbent will actively work on this with assistance from the
wider team.)

This role is a hybrid role, after a successful probation period with 1-2 days in
the office.

Looking to start a career in Online Advertising? Our client is looking for an
analytic fanatic with a creative spark to join their team of specialists in the
heart of Bicester.

Your role will primarily involve working directly with our clients PPC delivery
team to help us setup and manage awesome paid advertising campaigns
across the Google and Microsoft channels (including Search, Shopping, and
Display Campaigns), and via paid social channels such
as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.

This role will involve a lot of performance analysis of the campaigns our
client is running for customers whose businesses span a wide variety of
different industry sectors. One minute you might be working with an
electronics brand, the next maybe an industrial B2B type. The diversity of
work means you'll rarely have a dull day. You'll then get to implement the
changes decided following on from the analysis helping to keep the
campaigns nice and optimised.

You'll help to launch new campaigns which involves performing keyword
and audience research, and then setting up new campaigns and building
ads. As your knowledge and experience grows you will also have the
opportunity to manage your own accounts, and will become the main point
of contact for a number of customers.

While the role is largely campaign and client management, there will be
opportunities to get stuck in and help the wider business. Internal
marketing, business development, and planning are all responsibilities that
can be shared if this is something you have an interest in.

The Individual

We didn't just say "analytic fanatic" because it sounded good (well, maybe a
little); being comfortable around large volumes of data is a must for this role.
We don't need you to be an Einstein-level maths whizz, but a strong
numerical base is crucial. In addition, you'll also be comfortable analysing
the data from campaigns and be able to weave this into narratives that our
clients customers will not only understand but appreciate.

You need to be comfortable dealing with people, and have the ability and
confidence to clearly present information both internally and externally via a
number of different mediums, whether it's written or verbal. Passion,
demonstrate your ability to be a good team player who will contribute to
our clients ongoing success.
