Senior Care Assistant - Required at Birkin Lodge Nursing Home in Tunbridge Wells, Part of the Country Court Family**
Hours: 33 Hours per week available, working weekends on rota (Shift Times 19:30-07:30)
Located in Tunbridge Wells & just 10 minutes from the train station, Birkin Lodge Nursing Home offers compassionate family-led nursing & residential care.

ABOUT THE SENIOR CARE ASSISTANT ROLE
Within your role as a Senior Care Assistant, you can really make a difference to our residents' lives
Your responsibilities will include:
- Helping our residents with personal support and care.
- Aiding their emotional wellbeing and social needs
- Administration and monitoring of medications to residents Supporting residents at meal times
- Interacting with our residents on a personal level
- Maintaining care plans
- Supporting residents at meals time

- Experience as a Senior Care Assistant & leading a team.
- Be no stranger to working night shifts
- Have a friendly & caring attitude.
- Able to engage well with the residents and their families
- Have an understanding of people with Dementia
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social care or willing to work towards this.
- Great communication skills, both written & verbal.

Senior Carer, dementia, Alzheimer's, older people, nursing, nurse, senior care assistant, SCA, leadership, NVQ level 2, NVQ Level 3, Nurse Assistant, Senior Support Worker, Senior Care Worker, Senior Support, team leader.
