Pre Press / Artworker - Packaging & Labels

A leading packaging and self-adhesive labels company.

Role:

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a well-established company, predominately creating print ready artwork, working on food and beverage packaging and/or labels.

Responsibilities:

Preparation/creation of artwork for digital & flexographic label printing production
Check all artworks supplied and prepare them for printing
Ensure artwork proofs are accurately created and proofed on time
Inputting accurate information into a Management Information System
Liaise with Prepress manager, customer services team and customers to ensure timelines are met
Work closely with the prepress manager to plan jobs going into production
Order plates
Send jobs to the HP Indigo

Requirements:

Experience producing print ready artwork
Previous / current experience working within packaging and labels
Repro experience beneficial
Knowledge of print processes such as digital, flexographic, hot foiling and screen printing
Good working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
Good understanding of colour management software
Good understanding of HP Indigo DFE advantageous
Knowledge of workflow systems advantageous
