The Edinburgh Practice is an award-winning, multidisciplinary, private mental health practice based in central Edinburgh. We are renowned for providing a wide range of therapeutic services, nationally and internationally, across the lifespan.

We are a busy private practice and our team work closely together to deliver effective treatment and therapy to our clients.


Due to an exciting relocation to a purpose built practice and expansion last year, we are looking for a hard-working, enthusiastic and detail-orientated individual to join our team between 20-40 hours per week.

It is a team effort, with the administrators at the core of operations.

You will need experience of working in an administrative role, previous experience in a medical setting would be an advantage.


The admin team are the main point of contact for our clients, and we are looking for an individual who is highly motivated and who offers a high level of customer service.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Handling client and public enquiries in a timely, professional and polite manner.
  • Ensuring the smooth running of the practice and liaising regularly with all colleagues
  • Invoicing duties.
  • Processing payments over the phone and face to face.
  • Booking and amending appointments.
  • Updating patient records.
  • Accessing sensitive information whilst maintaining patient confidentiality.

Essential Skills & Personal Qualities:


  • Admin experience (2+ yrs) preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly motivated and organised and a great team player.
  • Ability to keep calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
  • Empathetic to clients needs and concerns.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly, without direct supervision.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good computer literacy and knowledge of relevant software.
  • A clear understanding of issues surrounding confidentiality.

Pay:
£27,040.00 per year
