Continuous Improvement Lead (CI)

Permanent

Walsall

£35,000 - £40,000

Full-time: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
Graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Duties and responsibilities:


  • Bringing into effect Lean/Six Sigma across all business areas through Kaizens, training and mentoring to eliminate waste and deliver product to customer expectations
  • Increase effectiveness of end to end processes
  • Lead a cost saving programme to deliver the annual cost objective
  • Responsible to personally deliver savings to improve profitability
  • Lead monthly meetings with the management team
  • Lead events focused on costout

Person specification:


  • Knowledge of manufacturing and transactional concepts
  • Passion for continuous improvement
  • Kaizen and 5s experience is highly beneficial
  • ELSS Greenbelt (or equivalent) trained is highly beneficial
  • Experienced using ERP systems
  • Minitab and SAP is desirable
