Job Title:
Principal Quality Inspector - Paint Inspection

Salary:
From
£38,73- depending on skills and experience***
What you'll be doing:

Covering all inspection work within the build phase, working to set specification (Workmanship Standards and Process Instructions) set out by BAE and agreed with all key stakeholders
Working in line with the current inspection and test plan agreed by the business and working to a right firsttime approach
Carrying out routine work with limited supervision and complex tasks under direct supervision in their related area/s
Being able to access and have a clear understanding of the Quality and HS&E Management system documentation e.g. Process instructions, Workmanship Standards, Risk Assessments in line with their work scope.
Coaching and education of suppliers
Reporting results of inspections using the agreed processes set out by the business
Undertaking and supporting supplier audits / reviewing ITPs MRBs

Your skills and experiences:

Product Inspection Background
Ability to interpret specifications, procedures and contract requirements
ICORR Level One Paint Inspection or Industry Equivalent, familiar with standards 1090 and ISO1307
Time
Served Tradesman
Defence Based Experience
Understanding of steel working construction / manufacturing and associate standards practices

The Quality Inspection team:
