Venture Recruitment Partners are working with leading organisation, based on the outskirts of Southampton in their search for a newly created FP&A Accountant Position.


Reporting to the Financial Controller, responsibilities will include:

  • Support in the preparation of the budget and 3-year forecast, including variance analysis throughout the reporting cycle
  • Liaise with different stakeholders in the business to report on departmental performance
and discuss variances to budget

  • Assist with the integration of new business units acquired by M&A
  • Support of the wider finance team in their cash flow forecasting and analysis
  • Support in the preparation of statutory accounts, including working with our audit and tax advisers
  • Building new processes and continually improving those currently in place, adding increased automation to reports and month end processes
  • Involvement in M&A due diligence activity and other ad hoc projects

You will be:

  • ACA or ACCA Qualified
  • Excel efficient
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage coach junior members of staff
  • The business have implemented a hybrid working model with an expectation to be in the office twice a week.
