Company Information
You will be working for a long establish organisation based in Birkenhead. Due to current growth they are expanding their Finance Team.

Main duties
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be working within an established finance team.

Due to the growth within the business, the role is very adaptable and you need to be happy to adapt and help out for the business needs.


  • Process weekly/monthly/ad hoc payment runs
  • Review aged creditors ledger on a regular basis and ensure accounts are being maintained correctly
  • Investigate and resolve debit balances
  • Processing and coding of invoices
  • Statement reconciliations
  • Bank Postings
  • Ensure supplier invoices are processed correctly and deal with escalated supplier/internal queries
  • Raising purchase orders (based on both verbal and written instruction)
  • Entry of data onto excel stock sheets
  • Booking hotels and short term vehicle rentals
  • General admin duties including filing of purchase orders and supplier invoices
  • Primarily purchase ledger focused but once familiar with systems and suppliers, then there will be other sales ledger / nominal ledger postings and reconciliations to be undertaken
To assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts by preparing and posting revenue and cost journals


Requirements:

They are looking for the right team fit, so experience working in a structured finance team will be advantageous. Must have experience with high volume invoicing
Minimum Education requirement A Level or above
Preferred AAT
Excellent numerical skills Time management and organisational skills
Microsoft office experience

Benefits
Salary - 26k, 8am to 5.30, 20 days holiday plus BH
