In Business, it is critical to cultivate future skills for a better tomorrow, and our Future Careers team plays a pivotal role in supporting the development of entry-level talent through graduate and apprentice programs.

This role directly influences the success of a subset of these programs and the experiences of the 120 current graduates and apprentices it will support.

This includes key moments such as joining the business, selecting new rotations, and transitioning from the program to launch their careers.

The primary focus of this role is to ensure that the programs are purposeful, delivering value to the business while enhancing the colleague experience, improving performance, and fostering a highly inclusive environment.


What you'll be doing

  • Overseeing comprehensive endtoend management of central graduate and apprentice programs for Business, which includes facilitating onboarding, managing rotations, overseeing inlife development, and handling offboarding processes.
  • Coordinating and executing various events such as induction programs and Business challenges, creating engaging and insightful experiences for participants.
  • Providing dedicated support and ongoing development opportunities to individuals enrolled in the program, ensuring they have the necessary resources to thrive in their roles.
  • Ensuring the efficient operation and continuous improvement of the program, including managing budgets, maintaining adherence to program and learning criteria, and implementing enhancements as needed.
  • Supporting the growth and proficiency of line managers involved in the program, fostering a high standard of leadership and mentorship to contribute to the success of participants.

Skills and experience

  • Proficient in time management with the ability to handle multiple deliveries concurrently.
  • Effective and articulate communicator, capable of conveying information clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management, ensuring positive relationships and effective collaboration.

Desirable: Previous experience in line management or business partnering, showcasing leadership and teamwork skills.

Desirable: Background in development or learning, reflecting a commitment to continuous improvement and skill enhancement.

Desirable:Proficient MS Office skills, facilitating efficient and effective work processes.
