About Our Client:

My client is a Not for Profit, international relief charity based in Manchester. They were established in the 1990s, targeted to poverty relief programmes and emergency response. They strengthen the fight against poverty and natural disaster but providing immediate relief and development programmes.


The key responsibilities of a Personal Assistant
will include, but may not be limited to;

  • Support CEO's complex workload.
  • Diary management support.
  • Prepare all relevant materials in advance of CEO's and Trustees meetings.
  • Organise all travel, accommodation and logístical arrangement.
  • Manage all correspondence and enquiries.
  • Taking minutes in relevant meetings.
  • Manage potential conflicts and issues with openness.

The Successful Applicant:


  • Not for Profit and Charities background.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a relevant role.
  • Computer literate.
  • Fluent written and spoken English is essential. Additional languages pertaining to Human Appeal Country Offices, such as Arabic, Urdu, are desirable.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to commute to Cheadle, 5 days a week.
