Description
We have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced Metal Dresser for our client based in Ferryhill.

This role will involve working with a variety of hand tools including electric grinders, pneumatic grinders and pad sanding tools.

The role will mainly involve dressing welds on components of various shapes and sizes ready for painting.

The role will start initially on dayshift with a view to moving to a 2 shift pattern once full training is completed:

Dayshift
Monday to Thursday 8.00am-5.00pm and Friday 8.00am-12.30pm


2 shift pattern
Day Shift - Monday to Thursday 6.00am-2.30pm and Friday 6.00am-12.30pm

Back Shift - Monday to Thursday 2.30pm-11.00pm and Friday 12.30pm-7.00pm


Hourly rate will start at £10.14 Per Hour while training and will increase to £12.16 Per Hour once training is completed and you start the 2 shift pattern.


Essential Experience:

  • Previous experience working within manufacturing/engineering environments is essential.
  • The ability to read and understand engineering drawings would be advantageous.
