We have a challenging and varied role for
young adult Support workers. This role is ideal for anyone hoping to make a positive impact on a young adults life, this role would only be suitable for anyone who has experience working with Young Adults, Challenging Behaviours, and special needs


As a Young Adult Support Worker, you'll deliver excellent care, celebrate achievements, encourage fun activities all whilst supporting the individuals' specific needs daily.

You will be required to support both in their home and in their local communities with activities such as, going to the local shopping centre, going for coffee, visiting outdoor places for walks, going to the cinema, and going out for lunch.

It's important you build a friendly and trusted relationship with the Service user and their family.


You will need to show:


  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • The ability to build and maintain rapport with young people and their family
  • Calmness under pressure and when dealing with challenging or confrontational behaviour
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • A good understanding of the challenges faced by the service users you help
  • Emotional Resilience
  • Commitment to making a positive difference
  • A positive, nonjudgemental approach
  • Creating detailed observations

To be considered or this role you will need:

  • At least 6 Months work experience working with adults complex needs in the UK**:

  • 3 years of references without gaps**:

  • An over sea's police check if required
  • A full driver's licence**:
  • Preferable**:
  • An enhanced DBS check on the update service as well as a clean criminal record.

Job Type

  • Full Time, Temporary Contract
  • Salary: £12.50 to £17 per hour Depending on Experience
  • Short shifts/Long day sleeps
