What is the Role?
This role is within our busy Credit Control team, where we focus on engaging with customers to recover payment, whilst adhering to industry specific legislation and regulatory frameworks, ensuring all customers are supported and vulnerable customers are protected.
Our blended model of working at home and in the office, provides our colleagues with the flexibility and support they require to succeed in this role.
You'll be in a vibrant working atmosphere and our modern offices are in a city centre location close to shops, restaurants, and a public transport hub.
In this role you will:
- work flexibly to action incoming workflows and complete weekly reports; providing support to colleagues and other teams as required
- proactively contact customers to arrange meter exchange requests, issue appointment letters, take card payments over the phone and always provide a high level of internal and external customer service
- complete customer registrations and payment requests ensuring all policies are adhered to and procedures are followed compliantly and actioned within agreed SLAs and timeframes
- update and maintain customer accounts, providing account reconciliations when required
- update monthly KPIs to ensure individual and team targets are met
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- the ability to work accurately with attention to detail
- strong negotiating and problem-solving skills
- excellent standard of IT, including working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- flexibility and the ability to be a good team player
