Construction Trade Solutions is looking for a hardworking, motivated Assembler for an ongoing project in Bradford. If hired, you'll be an integral part of the team in a engineering/factory work.

Length of contract: 12 weeks - Temp to Perm


Start Date:

ASAP
Hours of work: 07:00am - 04:30pm


Pay rate:
£9.50 per hour


Duties and responsibilities of the role
Our client is looking for cutting and measuring work, assembling P3 (aluminium fibreboard) and helping out the welders.

A list of duties and responsibilities for this role on any given day may include the following:

  • Studying and interpreting technical documents, such as blueprints, schematics and diagrams required to complete tasks.
  • Reading and confirming the parts list, interpret measurements and verify specifications.
  • Determing availability of materials and tools.
  • Assembling components and ensuring that all parts are fitted correctly.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and performing repairs.
  • Performing preventive maintencance and reporting and resplving assembly line issues.
  • Keeping the workspace clean.
  • Adhering to health and safety requirements of the company and the industry.
  • Conversing resources and supplies to facilitate minimum waste.

Skills and attributes (desirable)


We are looking for someone who has an exceptional hand-eye coordination and physical condition, have the ability to use hand tools and machinery, lift at least 23 kilogrammes and to be able to perform repetitive tasks while standing or sitting for extended periods.

Have an excelleent eyesight, including depth perceptions and the ability to differentiate between colours, knowledge of industrial manufacturing quality control regulations.
