Work Pattern:
Mon-Thurs 8-5 Fri 8-3.15

Main Responsibilities

The purpose of this role is to provide facilities support across the whole site and grounds.

The role will be responsible for carrying out a range of general maintenance tasks, fabric maintenance tasks, business support tasks, grounds maintenance tasks and will report to and support the facilities supervisor in the assistance in the delivery of planned, reactive and ad hoc maintenance tasks.


Key Accountabilities:


  • First line response to reactive repairs on building furniture
  • Minor building fabric repairs and minor decorating tasks
  • Basic plumbing repairs
  • Toilet facilities and replenishment of consumables
  • Gardening, mowing and strimming
  • ADHOC porterage duties (Moves & changes, furniture management & moves, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all assigned inspections
  • Comply fully with Health, Safety & Environmental policies

Must hold a full UK driver's license:

  • Experience of building maintenance and handyman duties being (commercial and residential)
  • FLT operator
  • Basic Joinery and building skills
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements within a building environment
  • Have a proactive approach to maintenance and building management
