Southdown is one of the leading providers of mental health services in Sussex. The Health and Wellbeing service supports clients with severe mental illness (SMI) to access better health and social care. These innovative roles will be joining the Health and Wellbeing teams in Brighton and Hove and East Sussex and working in partnership with Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust and local GP's and will provide invaluable targeted mental health and holistic support in both Brighton and Hove, and East Sussex.
We are looking for a Health and Wellbeing Advisor who wants to improve the lives of those with mental health problems, using your skills of motivating clients to support them to engage with their health, within GP surgeries and in the community. You will provide short term support to link the clients into the community using a holistic approach to improving their health and wellbeing. You'll receive a comprehensive induction followed up with regular training. We'll invest in you to give you all the tools you need to succeed, and you'll join a supportive and flexible team.
