About Our Client:

Working for a large service provider and being based over 9 schools in Tower Hamlets London

The Soft Services Team Leader will lead the delivery of the soft services within the schools in their region.

Working closely with the Regional Manager they will coordinate the Premises team, cleaners and relevant sub-contractors, and to ensure effective and compliant delivery of soft facilities management services to the schools.

They are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary competence, training, back-up and support to deliver high levels of customer service in line with the contractual requirements.

They must be able to anticipate and deal with issues and provide a critical link between the Regional Manager and the workforce.

In addition they should be able to assist in the management of all specified operational delivery requirements and company objectives in accordance with established standards, policies and procedures and provide support and mentoring to other team members as required.

The Successful Applicant:

Good Health & Safety Knowledge
IOSH Managing Safely
Good knowledge of COSHH as applied to Soft FM services
Good working knowledge of Concept Evolution CAFM System
Excellent knowledge and understanding of cleaning and premises management processes to enable accurate allocation and prioritising
Good quality management and audit skills
Drivers licence
Able to manage and control stocks of cleaning and hygiene consumables to deliver cleaning services in a cost effective manner
Able to motivate and organise effectively with effective coordination of cleaning and premises teams

BICS Level 1

C & G 7648 Level 12 (Cleaning & Support Services)
Recognised apprenticeship or training in support services / cleaning /hotel services + 5 years experience in a similar role or environment.
