Kitchen Assistant - ENHANCED DBS NEEDED

Duties:


  • Assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling ingredients
  • Assist in cooking and baking tasks, such as measuring ingredients and monitoring cooking times
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations
  • Wash and peel fruits and vegetables
  • Assist in organizing and stocking kitchen supplies
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Assist in serving meals to customers or staff members
  • Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen environment

Qualifications:


  • Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service setting is preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
