Lewisham Council Pension Fund, part of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS), has over 27,000 members and 40 scheme employers.

We are expanding our Pensions Team following a restructure and now have exciting opportunities for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team.


The Role
We are looking for 3 Pension Officers, to work within our in-house Pensions Team. Your key responsibilities will include;

  • Day to day administration of the LGPS and calculating all types of benefits in accordance with Scheme Regulations.
  • Interpreting complex legislation.
  • To provide support on all project work as required such as, annual benefit statements, pensions increase, end of year processes, valuation etc.

Location

We offer a hybrid working environment for our staff where you will work 3 days a week from our modern offices at Laurence House in Catford and 2 days a week from home.


What we're looking for


You should have a good working knowledge of the LGPS and working knowledge of the pension administration system, Altair, would be an advantage.

Salary details
£35, £36,417.00 per annum (SO1)
