Responsibilities


As an Land Surveyor you'll be working within the Hinkley Point C team carrying out engineering surveying using survey equipment, including levels and total stations.


Your day to day will include:

  • Responsible for organising own work load, scheduling monitoring observations and meeting daily deadlines for the delivery of monitoring data.
  • Installation of the monitoring of levelling studs, BRE sockets, prisms, retro targets, surveying the position of these using total stations.
  • Setting Out.
  • Production of installation reports.
  • Working under the guidance of a chief surveyor, undertaking accurate surveys using 0.5 total stations and digital levels.

Who are we looking for?

  • Degree / HND / HNC / BEng or equivalent, preferably within land surveying or a related technical discipline.
  • Previous site surveying and setting out essential.
  • Indepth knowledge and experience in surveying.
  • Knowledge of GPS equipment and modern surveying equipment.
