Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Handling a portfolio of credit hire claims from initial instruction until settlement.
- Ensuring abreast of developments within credit hire case law and changes to the Civil Procedure Rules.
- Liaising with clients, third parties, and solicitors, keeping clients up to date with the progression of their cases, updating reports and dealing with correspondence.
- Reviewing all evidence and establishing prospects of success.
- Assessing credit hire and other special damages.
- Advising clients on prospects.
- Drafting various relevant court documents.
- Complying with court directions.
- Negotiating settlement.
- Adhering to KPIs.
- Adhering to SLAs (both inhouse and business partners).
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications Required For Job

- Experience of credit hire and motor claims litigation.
- An understanding of, and the ability to apply, credit hire case law.
- A high level of organisation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to build rapport and establish relationships.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Capable of gathering, organising, and managing information.
- Ability to multitask & deal with several actions/ cases simultaneously.
- Responsive to change.
- Team working and working to tight deadlines.
- Be eager to learn, showing a positive, proactive, cando approach.
