Effectively contribute to the cutting, packing and dispatch of sales orders


PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND SUPPORTING TASKS
Review the production plan and ensure all fabrics are cut in a timely manner to achieve the plan.
Maintain the cutting table as required and record any issues and repairs.
Generate basic patterns/drawings for items, lay up plans and "hard" back up templates for all items produced.

Assist with the production of Specifications for all new item's and ensure existing specifications are updated to reflect any changes.

Receive and put away all incoming raw materials.
Take samples and assist with incoming quality checks on raw materials as required.
Stock take all raw materials as directed.
Weekly Fire alarm check and any general maintenance on site
Maintain all production equipment and record all work completed on the Planned Maintenance records.
Inform the Production manager of any issues.
Check and de-label all bought in items before re-packing for sale.
Pack and dispatch all customer orders.
Follow the company quality systems and procedures.
Ensure the production area is kept clean and tidy.
Ensure you work in a safe manner and report any safety concerns to the Production Manager.
Complete any fork lift truck movements on site.
Engage in any training and development.
Any other duties as requested from time to time by the line manager or General Manager for the division.
