We are excited to be advertising the position of Deputy Finance Business Partner within NTH Solutions, this role will be pivotal in the teams strategies and will offer a rewarding role in relation to tasks and diversity to support the companies objectives to grow commercially.


North Tees and Hartlepool Solutions (NTH Solutions) is a limited liability partnership subsidiary of North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust (NTHFT) set up to deliver a range of non-clinical Estates, Facilities and Procurement services across the Trust.

The company is a separate legal body to NTHFT.


You will be working closely with the Finance Business Partner, as well as liaising with key shareholders including NTHFT; and other relevant external organisations.

You will be required to support financial aspects of the company, including budget control, commercial accounts, improvements to efficiency and productivity to a high standard of governance.

In addition to your technical skills you will be well versed in building strong internal relationships with key departments and stakeholders in the business.

The role is to provide a comprehensive financial management, costing and advisory service to the Assistant Director of Finance, Finance Business Partner and Budget holders within NTH Solutions, in accordance with agreed timescales and professional standards.


You will provide leadership, advice and guidance on financial matters enabling NTH Solutions to optimise financial performance and strategic growth.


You will be highly motivated, personable and credible and be confident to work on different aspects of the finance agenda, as well as, working with a level of autonomy.

You will be a strong team player and will value the importance of fostering effective relationships and achieving results in partnership with others.

To provide a comprehensive financial management, costing and advisory service to the Assistant Director of Finance, Finance Business Partner and Budget holders within NTH Solutions, in accordance with agreed timescales and professional standards.

To provide the senior management team with financial management information in relation to the Estates, Facilities and Procurement/Supplies departments. Reporting within the overall Groups monthly financial reporting requirements to the Board(s), NHS England & NHS Improvement.


To assist with the preparation & completion of Annual Accounts & Reference Cost returns ensuring accurate and timely completion in line with national timescales.

This role will rely on working with Trust Finance colleagues as per services received under the reverse SLA i.e. Financial Management transactional services, Payroll, Accounts Payable and Receivable.
