We have an exciting opportunity for a
Data Administrator to join our busy
Birmingham service
. The new postholder will hold responsibility for overseeing the efficient collection and analysis of Hep C data for the Birmingham Change Grow Live service.
There will be particular focus on identifying people who are current or previous injectors who have not had a Dried Blood Spot Test (DBST) for the previous twelve months.

Hours: 37.5hrs per week
Salary:
£23,344 - £24, 911 per annum dependent on experience
This position is a fixed term contract for 12 months
Responsibilities:
About the role:
- Validate Hep C testing/treatment data on the local case management system to ensure a person's accurate information is being displayed (in line with the current Hep C dataset)
- Support local staff on accurate data entry related to Hep C and identifying gaps in knowledge
- Work with local stakeholders to collect data which will benefit the people we work with (eg. Hep C treatment data)
- Update client records with blood borne virus test results
- Recognise and understand Hep C key performance indicators and the background information
- Develop and share monthly reports based on Hep C project performance outcomes
- Communicate findings effectively and appropriate to the audience
- Attend relevant meetings and forums as requested
- Carry out any adhoc data requests from Management team, Commissioners, Regional NDTMS team and Central Data Management Team
About you:
- Excellent knowledge of CRiiS and how it functions, particularly BBV data
- Excellent knowledge of NDTMS processes
- Highly IT literate with expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experiencing using CRiiS reporting and data exporting functionality
- Experience of report writing
- Ability to manage performance monitoring frameworks
- Experience of using client case management systems/databases
- An excellent understanding of both the technical and human dimensions of data collection processes
- A willingness to work flexibly to ensure deadlines are met
- An ability and willingness to work independently and as part of a team
