Description
SME Account Handler required to join a well-known global insurance broker based in Birmingham City Centre.

Team members are supported, looked after, provided with training and opportunities to develop whilst being empowered to do their jobs.


As an Account Handler you will mainly be involved in managing an existing book of renewals, where you will place and renew business on behalf of a range of small to medium sized businesses - clients are typically up to £15KGWP in size.

You will need to establishand develop effective working relationships with clients and insurers, negotiate and secure renewals. Another key part of the role will be to handle general client queries and general policy administration. Involvement in broking new business into the marketand handling any Mid Term adjustment on behalf of clients.

Most clients will be handled from start to finish on a "desk top" basis but with some clients that have an Account Executive attached.

Utilisng Acturis and online E-Trade platforms.
