Location:
Swindon/Slough/Bracknell/ Maidenhead/Ipswich - as central as possible

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for works associated with compliance to company obligations relating to Health & Safety and environment, quality assurance and IIP (investors in people)
Understand and be able to meet deadlines for submission of reports required in the Construction Phase Plan and follow the process built into the highlevel programme to ensure that work package handover dates are achieved
To ensure the smooth running of all fibre operations across the midwest of England.
To prescribe transport, tools and equipment for internal fibre operations to keep all sites being able to operate.
Set up an internal process to achieve ultimate efficiency in fibre delivery.
Recruit, train and deploy field operations staff.
Liaising with senior management on contracts and ensuring their satisfaction and assisting with development and growth of contracts
Minimising costs of works through correct programming and utilisation of labour, plant, and materials.
Ensure that all staff and the labour force are fully productive and ensuring the staff are treated fairly and kept motivated.

Experience and Qualifications

Full NRSWA Supervisor ticket
Telecommunications degree would be massive advantage
Proven relevant experience within Telecoms Fibre industry
Experience setting up your own fibre team and ordering fibre equipment.

IT Experience

Microsoft products including Teams, Outlook, Excel (intermediate) and PowerPoint
Demonstrable knowledge of Fibre installation and testing methodologies and technologies
Experience in management Gangs.
Driving license
