My client a global Oil and Gas company have a vacancy for an Accountant to join their friendly team.
This is an excellent role for someone looking to advance their career in accounting by working in a hands on reporting role.
Working in the Head Office Finance team you will gain exposure to an all-encompassing range of finance areas and unprecedented opportunitiesto further develop the skills your accounting, reporting and analytical skills.
Salary £40,000 - £50,000 along with excellent benefits including hybrid working once probation period completed.Responsibilities:
- Prepayments and cost accruals
- Assist annual budget process and cost analysis in each entity
- Support towards yearend adjustments
- Prepare and assist yearend audit and financial statements
- Maintain quarterly VAT Return Invoice records
- Maintain Petty cash journal entries and inventory counts
- Capitalisation and depreciation of Assets in each entity
- Monthly bank reconciliations of each entity and journal entries
- Process accounts payables and track records
- Liaise with Operation and Treasury Departments, support the payment processing
- Maintain and make necessary adjustments to various records and journals
- Verify amounts and codes on various forms for accuracy
- Ad hoc report
About you:
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA part qualified or QBE
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP
- Ability to working independently without supervision
- Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of employees
- Ability to work under pressure and meeting deadlines
- Proficiency with Excel
- French language would be an advantage
