An opportunity for an experienced Learning Management System Specialist, for a 12-month fixed term contract, to initially support in maximising functionality and engagement in our legacy eLearning platform, and in parallel to this, to be the Talent Team specialist/project representative in the sourcing and implementation of a new global Learning Management System (LMS).


Tasks and responsibilities

  • Work with our current eLearning platform to resolve current functionality issues and ensure that we maximise use and engagement of the system, ensuring continuous improvement, keeping the system up to date and providing insightful learning data (within a determined scope).
  • Prior to implementation of a newly identified LMS conduct an audit of our learning taxonomy including our current eLearning content to ensure either successful transfer of content to a new LMS or update and development of new content for transfer, ensuring all earning resources are accurately tagged, categorised, and easily searchable for users.
  • As the Talent Team representative, work with internal stakeholders (Digital Technology Solutions (DTS) and others) to complete the sourcing of a new LMS that meets the company's requirements, providing high level technical advice in relation to learning technology trends, digital learning solutions and processes to identify a credible LMS that is fit for purpose for the future.
  • Partnering with internal teams, manage the implementation of the new global LMS from design and development to implementation.
  • Managing the change elements of the implementation of the new system from piloting, testing, launch, communication and training, stakeholder management and subsequently through to go live and initial post launch support.
  • Set up reporting from the system and ensure integrity of data and reporting and analyse data to identify trends, gaps, and areas of improvement, making datadriven recommendations to enhance the learning experience Develop LMS policies, procedures, and governance to ensure best practice ensuring sustainability and functionality of the system for the future.

About You

  • You will have experience in a learning and development environment and of an LMS implementation, together with proficient generalist IT skills.
  • You are a selfstarter able to influence senior stakeholders and build relationships which promote trust and confidence.
  • Innovative, organized, endtoend process oriented, and demonstrate a drive for efficiency.
  • A skilled communicator used to dealing with both senior management and more junior employees, agile in your approach
  • Experience in facilitating and encouraging collaboration amongst team members, and capable of engaging with teams to maximise performance.

Requirements:


  • Relevant qualification and/or experience in LMS design and implementation
  • Experience in Instructional design and course authoring would be ideal
  • Excellent MS Office skills, specifically advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience of working in a global environment
