Description
Reporting to the Finance Director, the role of Credit Manager oversees and has responsibility for the Credit Control operations for the business to ensure the effective collection of outstanding debtors as well as ensuring accurate billing of B2B customers


The Credit Manager is also responsible for ensuring that the teams of 20 are managed in an efficient and effective way to maximize company cash flow as well as adherence to company policies and procedures.

Day to day duties and responsibilities include

  • Effective team management and leadership of 20 in the credit control and billing teams
  • Reviewing and improve existing Credit Control and billing processes
  • Performing risk assessments on new customers
  • Managing escalated items from collections team
  • Liaising with external parties and solicitors when necessary
  • Ensuring the company Credit Policy is adhered to across the businesses
  • Producing monthly and daily management information as part of the senior management reporting
  • Staff development and coaching
You will have

  • Significant and proven management experience of credit control and billing teams in a fast paced environment
  • Experience of reviewing and rolling out robust credit control and billing processes
The salary is circa £60,000 basic plus perfromance based bonus based on collection targets
