Are you looking to work in a team that is focused on supporting people to maintain independence at home as well as supporting people in care home environments? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join one of our well established Community Resource Teams.
We are looking to recruit a Band 3 Technician to support the Speech and Language Therapy Community Service. Our service offers assessment and treatment for people who have swallowing and / or communication difficulties.We can offer you:

The teams are made up of Physiotherapists, Speech & Language Therapists, Dietitians, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Rehabilitation Technicians, Doctors, Age Connects brokers and Social Services staff.
The post holder will assist the Speech and Language Therapists by implementing treatment programmes with adult patients who have a range of communication difficulties.
He/she will work under the supervision of a qualified speech & language therapist who will not necessarily be working on the same site all the time.
The work will consist of direct client contact and clinically related clerical activities as delegated by the therapist.
