Title:
FLT Counterbalance / Warehouse Operative


The Best Connection are working with our client in Peterlee who are a global leader in design and manufacture of storage units.

Due to increased levels of business they require a
FLT (Counter Balance) Driver.


Duties will include:

  • Using a FLT (Counter Balance) to supply stock to the production area
  • Moving stock around the production area
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • There could be some manual packing
  • Experience of using FLT (Counter Balance)
  • Valid and indate FLT Counter Balance licence not inhouse
  • Experience of an overhead crane would be an advantage

Hours of work:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 07.00am 4.30pm Monday to Thursday
  • 07.00am am Friday

Pay rates:
- £10.00 per hour initial basic rate - increasing to £10.48 per hour basic rate after 12 weeks worked
- £10.48 per hour overtime rate (after 40 hours worked)
