Assists with the provision of a catering service within Nottinghamshire area with a particular emphasis on the planning, preparation, cooking and serving of meals and working as a team.


Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Takes full shift responsibility for the catering operation (in the absence of the Head Chef).
  • Ensures the costeffective and efficient control of stock including placing orders for food products and the checking / reconciliation of deliveries. Ensures that wastage is mínimal.

Competitive Pay Rates:
£10.50- £11.50 per hour


Days, short term placements & advanced rotas all available - shifts to suit your lifestyle.

Entry Requirements:


  • Experience within the last 2 years in the UK
  • Experience within a professional kitchen environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, the post holder will be required to work with catering support staff.
  • Be able to work as a team with other cantering staff.

Knowledge / Education / Skills

  • Numerate, literate and qualified to NVQ2 or equivalent
  • Organises and prioritises own workload within established procedures
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Good organisation and time management
  • Some knowledge of specialised diets may be required (Dysphagia, Allergens, etc)
