£80 - £90 per day

Type:
Full-time, Term-time only

Working Hours: 08:30 - 14:50, Monday to Friday

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pastoral Support Assistant to join a large secondary school on the outskirts of Grimsby.

As a Pastoral Support Assistant, you will provide support to students, monitor attendance, and work closely with parents to ensure students receive the necessary support to excel academically.

Responsibilities:

Offering support to students with their studies, including onetoone or small group sessions.
Monitoring attendance, identifying and addressing patterns of poor attendance.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.
Providing guidance and support to students, ensuring their welfare is protected.
Contributing to the development of school policies and strategies.

Requirements:

Previous experience working as a teaching assistant, learning support, or counselling.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
The ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
A caring and nurturing personality.
A strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
A valid DBS check.
