Description
Electricity North West is looking for authorised Jointers to join our inclusive and collaborative team in Oldham. The role comes with a salary of up to £42,941.06 per year plus excellent benefits.
As an authorised Jointer, you will be required to work on the ENWL underground electricity distribution network under both live and dead conditions.
In this role, you can expect to:
- Work with street furniture faults, replace single and three-phase service terminations, find and repair customer services, restore supplies to multiple customers, including LV operations and repair high voltage cables
- Complete Point of Work Risk Assessments, raise permits, use disc cutters, breakers, hand tools and mini diggers to excavate in accordance with Health and Safety legislation and company codes of practice to provide access to our network
You will also need:
- To be customerfocused with the ability to communicate clearly and be willing to work outside in all weathers with some antisocial hours
- Be in possession of a full UK driving licence and be wellorganised, selfmotivated and happy working as part of a team
